Nongunz is a nihilistic action-platformer roguelike.
Obscure in both gameplay and theme, it’s a riddle that demands sacrifice.
Rebuilt from the ground-up, the Doppelganger Edition is a remastered version of the original, never previously released on console, and features two all-new modes: Arena and Local Co-op.
This seems more like an escape room game with roguelike side-scroller elements. It's the kind of game I associate with people who unironically enjoy building wikis and discord communities around their theories (often doing the dev's lore-building work for them in the process), and who think anyone lacking the time, will, or patience to handle purposely inscrutable elements and clunky controls is worthy of scorn. But here's the thing - your UI shouldn't be in on the act. If I have to Alt+Tab out of your game because you've turned the QUIT button into yet another obtuse escape room puzzle, then it sends the message that your game doesn't want players, it wants prisoners. And that's not a relationship I want to have with a video game, especially not one on Game Pass with dozens of less obnoxious alternatives sitting right next to it. I'll give it 3 stars only because I do feel like there are folks out there that enjoy this sort of thing, and I'm glad they have this.

Amazing game
This game is so underated. It's by far the most interesting and difficult rougelite I've ever played. The music is this constant bass with melodic guiter paired with a melancholiac angelic voice. The art style is incredible to look at as well. The game is piss hard but my god is it good.

Not bad, gives Rogue Legend vibes
Gameplay is fast paced, repetitive in some areas but not nearly game breaking. Art style is extremely cool. Game throws you right in and you learn as you go.
