Off And On Again tells the story of a hero tasked with rebooting time. The game world is created and destroyed during play, with the hero having the ability to turn parts of the world off and on again. You will be required to use both brains and skill to overcome the enemies and obstacles in your path.
...you don't mind getting insulted, a lot, lol. Not GLaDOS level when it happens but still good, adds to fun & experience.
Multiplayer has diff modes, 2 are using classic games for it (Breakout & Space Invaders). You can play these alone if you wish, no bots though. Would like to have additional single player modes, esp. like the 2 classic clones in multi. that you can play alone in (a Donkey Kong clone for ex.). I'd buy DLC to add such.
Story mode (no one here to try multi) is quite cool, doesn't feel tacked on as after thought. Story dialogue (text bits) is clever & entertaining, character animation is top notch & so are the controls. Much variation in ideas from lvl to lvl keeps things fresh & wondering what next lvl will be like.
Expected meh, was quite wrong. Expected brutal, it's not but has challenge (w/out frustration) & MANY checkpoints.
It's quality & a fun game, not normally type I would be into. If you think you might like it, you probably will.
