Omega Five

This is what Japanese arcade shooters are all about. Adrenaline pumping, hardcore challenge, pure joy, awesome graphics and sound, amazing colors, as well as great in game artwork and presentation. Great Game. 🙂

This is what got me into the shmup genre. Each of the 4 expertly designed, beautifully crafted levels are filled to the brim with jaw dropping set pieces, visually stunning effects & ceaselessly amazing bio-mechanical enemies. Unique for a traditional side-scrolling shooter in that its also a twin-stick shooter. Its challenging but no where near a bullet hell shmup. Really, REALLY great XBLA title

An all around pollished 2d shooter

Some may know Tengo Project from their NES / SNES Classics ... and their awesome Remakes of Ninja Warriors, Wild Guns, Pocky Rocky, Shadow of the Ninja/Kage. OMEGA FIVE was once delisted in 2012 (when Konami acquired Hudson) and finally relisted since May 2022. The gamedesign with its huge background Robots turning into Bosses or the option to choose between Sexy Lady vs Bulky MultiarmRobot shows - the roots of the Ninja Saviors Warriors Return Team. Looks still awesome on Series S/X .

I love the old school style of this game. definitely recommend this game.
