As usual, "Outbreak" continues to rip off of well made, popular games, and insists on doing it poorly.
This "choose your own adventure graphic novel" forces you to make the "right" decision or gives you a game over screen, and even then, only lasts about twenty minutes before you reach the end, at which point it teases a "Part 2", meaning this ISN'T EVEN A FULL GAME.
Oh and there's also a VERY poorly made "dungeon crawler"/exploration/RPG mode that doesn't even take itself seriously. It's literally just loops of pointless objectives (seriously, it doesnt matter what option you pick), fighting enemies, then occasionally finding a "survivor" until you collect all ten. I never get bored of games for being "too redundant" so this was a first.
O)verall, 4/10. Game doesn't take itself seriously, so why should you. Can be worth an hour of your time if you can get it on sale for $5.

Mid is generous
Don't bother. Ungodly short and anticlimatic

These game games, individually or in bundles, are a scam.

Great unexpected twist on the outbreak saga!
Lydia has been through the ringer. I've been playing through the outbreak saga since the first release and this was not expected. For those of you not familiar, the whole series is a small dev team's love letters to 90s survival horror like RE. This installment though is a visual novel about Lydia's (the titular main) time right before the outbreak. It's short but adds some great lore to the story and for the Dead Drop devs, something to be proud of. If you like this, try dinobreak, it's rad!

A Nice VN with a Fun Mini RPG
The Visual Novel is interesting and well-written. I've had some difficulties getting all the endings, but that's more because I have trouble remembering my own choices. The RPG mode is simple but fun, and the humor is top-tier.
