Pato Box

While the graphics are bland and the sound is nothing to write home about, I love the idea of a game with Punch Out style gameplay on the Xbox. So what's the problem? Hit and miss responsiveness from the controls as well as from the hit detection. I prefer to use the d-pad for a game like this, and while I can dodge side to side just fine, I can only duck using the analogue stick, but the stick controls aren't as responsive, and for a reflex patern style game like this, responsive controls are everything. I really hope this game is patched up, because I really want to like it.

Devs apologized for the patch delay. Pros: • Kind of similar to Punch-Out. • Unique / Interesting art style. Cons: • Unique / Interesting art style. • Strange plot / story. • Stupid hard. Not worth $14.99. Pick it up on sale.

I really wanted to like this game. Im fine with the art style. The issue is the exceedingly hard difficulty. It shouldnt be an impossible task to just beat the first actual opponent (after the prologue). Ive never said this, but I recommend these devs update this game and add an easier differently at least, so people can.. Well.. Enjoy this game ✌️

I actually played this on my ps vita and enjoyed it. The bosses were all cool except for the dj one, he sucked. The fights were what i was looking for, a punchout clone. However, the stages in between fights where you walk around, are very hit annd miss. I enjoyed a few of them but got irritated with others. The kitchen stage is really frustrating. All in all, i liked this game and you unlock arcade mode that is just boss fights. Give it a chane but it does require patience at times.

The graphics are solid for what they are (Monochrome) . The controls are simplified & seamless. However, and most importantly, I'm truly enjoying the storyline with nods to gaming nostalgia. I am impatiently awaiting to see what else this independent studio has in store for us.
