Quintus and the Absent Truth

The best way to try and explain Quintus & the Absent Truth is to compare it to Italian Director Lucio Fulci's The Beyond or Gates of Hell there's this strange "Dream State" vibe going on! You are thrown into these chapters/vignette trying to find your daughter that is missing! It's a more stylized--off kilter version of The Park (Gameplay is balance the puzzles are ok except controls are a bit dumbed-down sometimes unresponsive using Quintus (Mouse) in the first 2 Chapters is a little "Off" Audio/Score very good for the low MSRP its worth a blind buy! After finishing you can tell Fulci's films inspired the story narrative (has a very slick NY Ripper style twist ending) i want a sequel or off-shoot of this story

This game felt like I went to the doctor for a procedure, and he blasted me with too much anesthesia 😂. Little of it made much sense. The art was slightly interesting, but the environments and light "horror" aspects were very very dull. The story was weird, and the game lacked much of any text of objectives which led to a lot of confusion. This game is a puzzle solving slow walking simulator with extremely minor amateur horror aspects. All in all, was an easy unmissable 1000 achievement score, and might put you to sleep. 3/5 ✌️

Terrible game that is not worth buying or playing. Froze on chapter 3 and made me restart it. Skipped to the final chapter just to end it. Stay away

We were the Quintus all along.

It really isn't a bad game. The achievements are unmissable and it isn't a long game. My sight isn't what it once was so a couple of the darker scenes were challenging. It isn't a smooth game. I fought a can of cat food. 🤣 There is beauty in simplicity. I don't consider this horror even though they implemented a book pertaining to the devil. If you have an open mind you might just enjoy this. I did.
