Ravensword: Shadowlands - Xbox One Edition

Reminds me of Morrowind meets Kingdoms of Amalur. Proof that form follows function when it comes to development especially with a limited staff and budget. This game hits all the right marks whether you are a classic rpg nerd or enjoy a little more hard edged combat for the Dark Souls fans. The difficulty slider very accurately accommodates most any experience level of gamer. Retro early 2000s graphics? Yes, and looks great nevertheless. Especially the creatures ! Lots of surprising detail. Give this game another chance if you haven't already. Excellent job developers! Now back to finding the second Ravenstone 😃

Solid old school rpg experience that can't be beat for the price! Sequels? I hope!

Ive been playing this game since I walked into my mothers T mobile store and checked the apps on the preview I pads I instantly fell in love with the franchise in kindergarten. Now the port for Xbox makes my feel like a kid again. Thanks🥲

Look, it's a Ratalaika game so easy 1000gs is expected and always appreciated. This game gave me a very nostalgic perception of Morrowind meets Two Worlds with the smallest sprinkle of Oblivion. It's good value for what it is which was a surprise for sure. 4 stars for some technical bugs I was lucky to fix.

Morrowind? Elder Scrolls: Oblivion? While this game is neither of these, Ravensword: Shadowlands does a very good job of emulating these classics, albeit on much smaller budget and scale. Yes, this game is rough around the edges. But it's impractical and unfair to expect small indie firms to crank out products the caliber of the much larger Bethesda. What Ravensword does offer, however, is charm, ambition, and gaming-fun, along the same lines as the famous RPGs mentioned above. The story is enjoyable, as are all the optional quests. I also thought that the skills-tree was well done and offers a nice variety of growable "talents" (l currently have a crossbow leveled to 150, with a 100% damage bonus 😆😋- MONSTERS BEWARE! 🏹☠👻 I can one-shot kill T-rexs in hide mode 🤣😄🦖💀😝😜). I would absolutely love to see this little gem get an upgrade and graphics makeover. Not only does it need it, it deserves it! Kudos to the devs. 👍🏆🥇⚔
