This is just my first impression after having completed 2 chapters. Also, it's more that I am reminded of Katana Zero than being a lot like it which due to more than just because it's sort of a puzzle story game instead of an action story game.
The movie Memento also comes to mind when playing this too though more people know the movie Pulp Fiction. Like in Pulp Fiction things are filled in after the fact that changes how you see what all happened.
Like in Momento it jumps from the end to start too though it doesn't meet in the middle for the end of it all (of what I've played so far) but the not knowing/remembering aspect does cause actions to be taken that affects future events.
I'm loving it so far, as much as the demo which represented what to expect well. Is it worth the price? Dunno yet, gonna depend on length of the game but so far it's seeming so. I'm also still trying to figure out some things like why some words are colored & if their different colors mean something.

Christopher Nolan-esqe story/puzzle game
First and foremost I think I would overall categorize this game as a story driven/visual novel game with puzzle game being it's secondary.
The puzzle aspect is pretty great, and does some really cool stuff. The plot deals with being able to relive memories and play them until you get the right path. You find info that you need to solve puzzles based on taking the wrong path, which often leads to the characters death. But it's part of the game. There is some other 2 character, each has their own special ability puzzles. There is also some pretty weak stealth sections.
All of the puzzling is very easy but I think it is by design to make this fantastic story into a game.
The characters are interesting and well written. Plenty of twists and turns with a mind bending reaity shaping plot. I didn't really care for the ending but the ride there was fantastic.
The game looks great, has fantastic indy/lowfi chill music. It only takes about 6 hours to 100% the game but it's something special.

Short, but very fun.
As the other comments have mentioned, the story, music, and sound were all done fairly well. I do kinda wish Chapter 7 was done a bit differently, though. I feel like it would've been much more enjoyable if there was just a "follow me" or "accompany me" button added to the level. The puzzles weren't too complicated, but were still satisfying to do. If you ever see this for a bargain, I think it'll be in your best interest to grab it.
