Re:Turn 2 - Runaway

It appears that the issue described in the negative reviews of this game were fixed a while ago as far as I can tell. I appreciated that the devs went out of their way to respond to these negative reviews to give temporary solutions to the issue while they were working on it. As for the game itself, if you liked the first one you'll definitely like this one. They made a lot of improvements from the first game and even added voice acting. I can confidently say it was well worth my time (and money), so I recommend picking it up especially if it's on sale.

Cant get pass the menu

I enjoyed the first game so i got the second game just to find out the main menu does not work i would really like to try the game so i hope it works later

I don't get what these people are complaining about. I had no trouble getting my controller to work with this game at all on the Xbox Series S. I didn't have to push Y like others said they had to do and the main menu works perfectly fine. All I'm using is my Xbox Series controller and my 4TB external hdd that's connected to the console. I love the scenes and sound affects and also this new English voice acting for the characters. It's pretty funny that they sound exactly like how imagined they would sound like when I was playing part 1. Without spoiling anything at all, I will say I'm not fully satisfied with the endings. Still left with more questions. I truly hope there will be a part 3.

Not as good as the 1st game. 1. The controls are wonky, my character would keep running when i stopped moving, controls also spazzed out on puzzles, sometimes dodging wouldnt work. 2. This game is SO much darker than the 1st game u basically can only see whats right around your character instead of looking down a dimmly lit hallway you just see pitch black. 3. hated the stamina bar. 4. Hated they added deaths, one of the things i liked about the 1st game was it was spooky even tho i knew i was safe. Adding deaths was pointless and annoying since youd lose progress and start from your last save. Way shorter only took me 4 hours to beat and an hour of that was from dying and losing progress. I found this game annoying compared to the 1st and while it answered some questions, i was left with more and wish the devs had focused on fully completing the story instead of adding pointless deaths. Played on series X no issues on loading screen. VA was cool. Extra star for the story and the cat.
