REDO!

Genuinely enjoyed the slow methodical combat and minimal storytelling. 1 star off foe no map and bugged achievements. Definitely coming back to 100% this when its fixed 🙂

Made it so far in this: And all I know is that I had to go left in an area filled w baddies. Had the Hand Cannon & Rocket Launcher. No matter. That area was the End for me; & I'm glad to see Devs respond so quickly & ready to fix any problems that there may be. Framerate Drop. Eventually, it just Froze on me; re-installed, nope. PLATFORM: XBoxOneX: There was another game, played after this, & right smack at the end, game froze whilst moving to another room - AND it SAVED it, rendering my Save dead. No others, though: Been playing a lot of games to see if XB is prob, but only the 2 2D Plats: And I play "Elden Ring", & never had 1 slowdown: The other Plat: No slowdown: Sudden Freeze dead save File: In "REDO!", consistent slowing till it does freeze; & I played this game w intent on finishing bc I really enjoyed it! Hope there's a way to fix this - (assuming it is the game): But I wouldn't use the HCannon or RLauncher when trying to get thru that room: Explosions only worsen FR Drops: 🕹️

My Final UPDATE v1.12 6/29/2022 After 5 loops of the game (3NG 2NG+) I can say I enjoyed my time with it Loved the 'zelda 1' style of having a remixed 2nd quest While the game was buggy when I first played. Devs had it patched quick First week of release (thank you devs) Sadly at the moment 2 achievements are still bugged, all items \ weapons Would love to play a bigger sequel ! Thanks for the response, looking forward to the patch UPDATE 1: After more testing, the MAX HP\ammo achievements are the cause Original post: Lots of fun, short litte metroidvania. Runs fine, until about 60~70% through the game when suddenly slowdown hits, and it hits hard! Framerate drops to <10 cant even open xbox dashboard it lags so hard. Problem persist even after a full reinstall. Seems to be trigged by the final HPup. THEN... The crashing starts too... PLEASE FIX i would like to at least be able to finish the game, I was enjoying it!

As soon as I acquired the 'hand cannon' the game started freezing up and crashing back to the Xbox dashboard. This happens everytime I try to play the game now, making it unplayable. Devs, fix your game.

I wanted to like REDO, the horror vibe of the game is appealing. But it is just too difficult, even after finding some weapons lto help. It really needs some healing items, and it shouldn't cost ammo to use a shield. There is the basis of a good game here but it needs to give the player a bit more to work with.
