Rival Megagun

Wow what a great concept. Love the art and music really pulls you into the game. Levels are not too difficult and gameplay is extremely rewarding. I just can't get enough! Feel like a 90s kid playing the hottest Genesis title. You won't be disappointed if you pick this up.

Love shmups and this is a good one. Love the competitive approach they took on the design, and although that's the games biggest strength it's also it's greatest weakness. Being able to lob attacks at your foes and fill their screen with enimies is remanecent of vs modes in tetris where when you remove a line from your screen and it adds to your opponents. Each ship has it's own special attack you can fire at your opponents screen and it's fun figuring out how best to use it. Then there's transforming into a megagunship which basically turns you into a boss for the other player, flying to their screen and reaking havoc. This would all be awesome if anyone played online but good luck with that cause I haven't found the first match yet. So if you have friends who play this then you'll have a blast, otherwise you'll have fun for a couple of hours and then wonder about the state of gameing we're in... where a game this good and fresh just gets ignored.

The game is legit. The game mechanics are out of this world. I'm a huge fan of this genre and this game does not dissapoint. Completely worth $14.99!!!!

I wished I would've given this game more of a chance a few years ago when I first bought it...I recently started playing it again, I'm realizing how remarkable and fun it really is, it's a beautifully crafted 16-bit shmup with a competitive twist, I absolutely love it
