Road to Guangdong

It's a relaxing game with a calming soundtrack and satisfying milestones. The one slight negative is that it does get somewhat repetitive.

Its a bit like jalopy, but suprisingly better! (speaking of which, someone really needs to update/patch its bugs/glitches). As for this game... Hey, at least it works: its easy to comprehend, its only froze on me once, although that was after I drove like an idiot (it happens with all games, and given how simple road to Guangdongis made, its amazing its run so well). While have yet to complete it, I will admit there are even some valuable life lessons. Its a game where you drive a car, maintain it, meet people from the main characters family, try to solve their problems, form a connection with them and cook recipes you gain from them at a restaurant you inherited. Or, if you want to... Just be a jerk. *Not a fast and/or action packed game, thats for sure. Just follow the road, stay on the right, visit all scrapyards and gas stations, and don't be afraid to use the gas to get up to 80. (keep it around 40-60 for best mileage, and not having to maintain the car as much).

Maintaining Sandy inbetween trips to visit relatives becomes such an annoyance that it completely ruins the game.

If you like a game that has a throttle you can't go past this is the game for you.

While persuing the games store with my fellow gamers we happened upon this title and became very intrested. We all bought the game as a joke with a competition to beat the game as fast as possible, however as we started driving around the enviroment we fell deeply in love with the quaint stories and classy mechanics that came along with this game. If you have a hankering to get in the car with your grandma and drive this game is for you!!! even tho there is no flying.
