So far its fun. I love roguelikes and they did well. It does take some strategy if you want to make your runs safer. Theres a decent amount to unlock, though the amount of paths you can take seems pointless when they are about the same. Id drop it to 2-3 options. Lastly, please dont let poison kill the player after they kill a boss, or at least let that unlock something neat

While the fist biome is fun and balanced for all characters and strategies. By the time you reach the end of the second that is compleatly out the window you can only try and build to out heal the damage frome 2 or 3 archers/poison throwers each encounter. As far as the boss at the end of the 3rd desert level you cant use armor/shields because its attack. Just by passes it. In short if by the first shop you dont get a healing rune just quit its not worth trying. It was a really fun game but after probly 50 attempts with charachers other the mage its kinda not worth the money knowing your only getting 5 levels to play before. YOU HAVE TO do it this way. Rune Dice perfectly hits that sweet nostalgic 80s/90s arcade feel. Easily a top 5 in this genre right now.

Points off because the use of dice is inconsequential. Its a physics game that uses blocks. Also the way they bounce and slide feels a little inconsistent at times, but still fairly predictable. Pretty straightforward game. Throw cubes, merge same numbers, gets effects therein. 8 classes with 3 variants each, tons of unlocks. I wouldn't say its "rigged" at all, just have to pay attention to how the pieces move and it makes sense pretty quick. Example: if you bump a piece out of the way that would be next in line for a merge, the active piece will bounce towards where it was instead of where it is. Overall a fun little roguelite. Something different. Worth a buy.

til you realize all the grinding and unlocks arent going to help you with ranged enemies. Its literally taking a knife to a gun fight every run. Use a magic user and just pray the rng works in your favor.
