RuneStone Keeper and I am the hero PixelArt Bundle

This has a great retro vibe to it, the fighting has good variety and the enemies are challenging. At times you can get away with just holding down Y and releasing for a charge punch. I got up to the frog battle and that's when the serious lag happened, there is little you can do to avoid them since the 2 masked enemies release them from both sides. Will update my review if lag gets fixed. UPDATE: Figured out how to overcome the lag issue by getting better at fighting and combos. This game really shines in workshop mode with wave upon wave of enemies, it forces you to ''get good'' at linking combos and moves.

It reminds you vaguely of the old arcade days. You can feel the love put into the game and can tell it was a way the dev paid homage to their childhood. The controls were smooth. The story was slightly out there but goofy enough to enjoy. The message at the end reminds you of fond childhood memories. It somehow really stuck with me and reminded me of simple times. Being a kid and pretending to be a under dog hero with your action figures... Not gonna lie though you can tell English wasn't their first language by some of the text subtitles. The end gets ridiculously spammy by the slasher enemies using wind up frogs good luck with frames on that one. Over all though I got it on a sale for 99 cents and it's a indie game. I would have easily paid the 7 dollars for it though. I still highly recommend it though. 4/5

Plz fix bugs in work shop enemy get stuck under the map and sides making it in possible to get to wave 80 😢 other than that love this game.

This game is so coo! As a fan games like streets of rage, god hand,ect. Its really cool to play somthing so fluid. The combos you can pull of are insane. And the soundtrack is dope. My favorite stage is the subway. For the price tag its well worth it. Now negatives..game is very short but has replay value. There is a reason to keep playing. One stage in particular has a serious lag issue due to the mass amount of...frogs on screen. Probably happens one other time on a later level. Aside from that this game was a treat.

Game is super fun and has some entertaining humor. The coop is fun and the game can get challenging. People wanting 300 hours of content , in depth storyline for $7 are out of luck though.
