If you're looking for a jump scare laden 5 nights @ freddys or slenderman clone, you've come to the wrong place. If you're looking for something atmospheric, thought provoking, and lasting, stick around and give this a play. Some reviews criticize the lack of npcs or combat, but that's not what this game is about. It's about the isolation and exploration. It's just the type of game i love; a retro style at a shorter length. While thoroughly exploring the world and taking in the atmosphere i was able to finish in just over 2 hours; earning all achievements. This game is part of a neat genre of lofi retro styled games more focused on tone and headiness, such as Paratopic. Although i see folks classify them as horror, a more apt term may be dark adventure. I really was on an adventure while playing. I will say that, as with most of these types of games, it does lose it's potency after the initial playthrough. However, for the price point, it's worth a late night playthrough, for sure.

Actually pretty decent
Couldn't pass up the price tag and storyline. It has a nostalgic feel to it. Able to complete and get all achievements in about an hour. Has a decent storyline for what it is.
Devs- do something about the darkness level, it's near impossible to see anything halfway though. ESPECIALLY in the mines.

Great game for busy folks
Quick and to the point. Great little game with a few unsettling hours of play. Easy achievements as everyone has stated. 6 bucks well spent. Kinda reminded me of Firewatch 👍

Great short game (it took me 2 hours to complete it). (possible spoiler) I love the story and I love how the beginning and end comes full circle. It has scary elements to it, but it's not a horror game. The music matches the moments perfectly. Easy achievements. It's a great $6 game.

Slightly better than average creepy walking sim
A short 2 hour or so exploration into cult life. A bit creepy, but not scary. There are no jump scares, enemies, or even npcs to interact with. Just you alone on an abandoned compound piecing together the cult's past. Can obtain all achievements pretty easily in one run if you take your time to explore each location. Graphics are stylized in old school pixelated 1st person. Story is ok, but nothing you haven't heard before. All said, it's fine for the price but not especially fun, entertaining, or thrilling. 6.5/10
