Yes, the main game is a SMB-style affair. The fun here is in finding and experiencing the bugs/secrets system. Find them, and read the console window! Easily worth $3. My sole complaint is the game needs more levels... DLC? 😉

I really like this game for its art style and difficulty. I know people say its a super meat boy clone but its not! Well...it does have a level thats an exact clone of smb. Its level 10, Up down up. Overall its a 5-star game and for $3.00 its GREAT!

StNC is great. It's a fun and delightful experience. Can be difficult at times, you will die, and the game itself is a bit short(hopefully more levels get added), but for $3.00, it's a 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟, 💎 of a game.

I gave it a lower score b/c the description (as of 4.22.17) indicates it is a casual game, so I'm reviewing it based on that claim. In reality this game stops being casual in mission 3, just a few minutes into the game. I completely lowered the difficulty as they suggest, by lowering the game speed, a hardly noticable difference. It's full of insta-deaths, and no mid-mission checkpoints, so you can't redo just one tricky part at a time. I like the game's concept and style. It's a tough platformers with loads of trial and error. For me, it got too hard way too fast. It's great that the developer put out a free trial so we can know what we're getting, but don't describe a game as casual when it's not. Games like Peggle, Tennis to the Face, and Sparkle are casual. Even the Trials series is vastly, vastly more casual than this game. If you think I'm being harsh, imagine if a game was described as insanely challenging, but was quite easy on every difficulty...yeah, not cool.

The controls seem really off especially jumping which is needed for a game of this type. The humour just made the levels even more annoying. The game is definitely, not for casual gamers . I have no doubt they wont get half way through. Annoyed and Bored.
