Scholar's Mate

Very good for the price. Puzzles are challenging and chases are engaging. I don't enjoy what they did with the audio and the small space to interact with things, which is really only bothersome when you're interacting with lockers and things of the like. Otherwise, it's solid and worth the money I'd say.

Scholar's Mate is really interesting because you need to solve complex puzzles (it's an escape room) with a captor lurking for you all the time. I hate you, Eddie... but I love this experience. Highly recommended.

Actually kinda reminds me of Outlast, definitely not a bad thing

So I read all the mixed reviews talking about the bugs and the hunter grabbing you through walls. I completed this game on Scholar's Mate difficulty and I will tell you I have only encountered 2 bugs, neither mentioned in reviews. When running through the timed door Eddie doesn't smash the door and the other when interacting with projector or books it will glitch out, appear as if you are under the map or overlay is stuck. Both are an easy fix, just return to main menu and hit resume. Eddie does not grab through walls, there is an aoe around him that if you are close enough will kill you but that is only if you were detected by him. This game is amazing and I highly recommend it.
