Shadow Gangs

Shadow gangs was a kickstarter made for the dreamcast hardware and plays like it. Game is hard but not too hard like some reviews I read here. Learn the patterns and its reflexes and timing. Real fun game. Shinobi style

No punch or kick. Just ninja stars, jump, duck, sword (with ninja costume). Lots of enemies, little lifebar. Die and completely restart entire level. Also you're sorta being timed for 3 minutes, so hurry tf up; eventho all u can do is walk.

As huge Shinobi/RollingThunder Fan I found it disappointing. Too many reused copy&pasted assets, Stages are too long and boring ( especially Underground areas). and some really unfair areas and Enemies... if thats not enough : +Timelimits, +Restart from the very begin of the stage . These strange flying elevators feel like they wanted to avoid making climbing animations I guess. Generally the Animations need more frames - esp. the jumping up one or the dying enemies....

The visuals great a bit too copy cat and the difficuty is a tad cheap but even the old games had their cheap quarter munching moments worth checking out you like Shinobi its like Shinobi with better graphics but the latter plays smoother

Shadow Gangs is in many ways the spiritual successor to the Final Fight series! The bad news this games is relentless (I'm talking Dark Souls hard) How the people behind this botched a simple formula is a shame and also baffling.... Huge missed opportunity 😜😢😜
