Shadow of Loot Box

This game is a great game to play for some quick laughs and some fun. The game pokes fun at a lot of pre release, pay to win, money grabbers, buggy games, and pretty much any trope you expect to find in the gaming market. Price is a little steep for the game because it has NO replay value. Still, it's an easy 1000 gamerscore, and fun while it lasted.

A fierce skewering of the current sad state of gaming, wrapped up in a hilarious package that is surprisingly playable. The devs even rounded out the package with *gasp* a great and lighthearted audiovisual presentation! I'd give this more than 5 stars if I could. The only thing missing is a Battle Royale mode - even CoD has dropped their single player campaign to trend chase! Maybe we will see "Shadow of Loot Box 2: Battle Royale" soon. 🤣 Reminiscent of a great Steam game called "DLC Quest" that tore apart the trends of a few years ago (also highly recommended!). Pick this up now - on sale, or full price - and have a good laugh at the sad state of gaming!

Wow, way better than Call of Destiny or Battlehunt 2. The graphics engine really puts you in the retro World, you can actually count the pixels! I paused many times just to etch the moment into memory. They really mean it when they say pre-pre release, I hope it stays early Beta forever like Fallguy 76. I was expecting hefty microtransactions but my wallet is still fat. Maybe when the overpriced expansion comes out. For now, getting dinged for every alternate costume and emote that should have been in the initial release will have to do. Insane gamerscore points, I got 140 gs just for drooling. Totally Tripel A, I loves it!

Joke after joke about the terrors of the current game industry. Worth the money.

Great little game. It is a bit short and a option to adjust the HUD boundaries would be nice. The humor is on point and would be great to show your friends!
