SHINY

Looks good, but choppy framerate and exceptionally long load times hinder it. Platforming feel is not great.

This would be a great easy game for achievements, however there are 3 that are glitched. I downloaded the game not realizing this. They allow people to spend $15 on an extremely glitched game. Besides achievements, my game froze mid level several times. Loading times are bad for what this game is. I searched a level for an hour glitching through rocks trying to find batteries only to realize 3 of them are simply missing from the game! Just not even there. Don't let the "reviews" fool you. Best indie game in Brazil 2016 means nothing when glitches in the Xbox version exist. All aside, this game is a mediocre platformer with dull graphics, long load times, and literally no story. The cut scenes only exist as an opener and a conclusion. More is described in the info about the game! When achievements are fixed, I'll higher my rating to a 2! UPDATE 3/15/18 Game glitched still, even after devs claimed they were working on fix. Easy, just gift them to us! Unlock on startup and move on!

I've played a lot of Platformers over the years this one could actaully be a future classic But, it has a painfully "off" jumping mechanic. While i wouldn't go as far as saying it's broken it's really not but, it has a weird logical jump when you jump the jumping is way to far so you have to judge the way you play it much different. Once you are able to wrap your brain behind this little problem (Your muscle memeory will kick in) It does effect the enjoyment of the game But, doesn't break the expirence The game itself has a Original Oddworld feel to it (and let's be honest that game plays pretty bad too) SHINY is worth checking out (But, only when it's onsale) but, should be given it second chance by all those giving it 1-2 star reviews there's a lot of character to the game overall but, it's hard to see when you are raging over the jumping I Put a good 2hrs into it I'd give it a solid 6/10 while its rough around the edges it still a bit impressive

The game is pretty fun, with one big drawback: The jumping sucks. Other than that, it's rather simple and straightforward. But the jumping is just plain frustrating on the small platforms. If the jumping was better, it would make it more fun, but it is what it is.

All you do is jump, so they made jumping accurately a little too challenging!
