Sin Slayers: Enhanced Edition

At first the game feels a bit rough, but once you get past the learning curve it really becomes smooth and enjoyable. The party system the devs choose is ok, but grindy (which i dont mind but others will), overall the turnbased combat and map exploration makes this fun for team based rpg players.

Pros: Decent graphics, lots of classes, monster variety, decent amount of skills. Cons: Not so riveting story, combat gets repetitive and you will doing a lot of it. Only 5 character levels but it will take you a while to reach the max. Thank God for the knowledge stones that let you level a character directly instead of taking them on dungeon runs. Character leveling stats just go up, you dont choose anything. Only 2 gear slots and not much gear available. Also dont know if its just me but my healer was being targeted to the point of obnoxiousness, and in one fight was chain stunned to death. Stuns that never fail and can be done repeatedly..please get rid of that. So, average game for $20. You could do worse

Beautiful music score during battles. Fun and challenging. Load times are a little bit long and could use more variety for gear, but well worth the money :)

Sinful heroes who have fallen are pulled into this world of seven deadly sin lords and their minions. The only safe refuge being a church, gathered heroes are guided by a blind sage to slay these sin lords in order to return back home. Each sin lord represents one of the seven deadly sins and are the bosses of the game. Before facing them, areas in which they reside need to be explored. These areas host an array of enemies, traps and loot which is randomized each time they are visited. Heroes gain xp from fights, can equip/use items and unlock special abilities. More heroes become available through progression and can be mixed to match several play styles as only three heroes can venture out at a time. Fights are turn based and depending on the heroes, can be quite challenging at times. If fights go from fair to consistently ridiculous, be sure to check the inventory while at the church and go through all of its tabs to ensure heroes are being maximized. Love indie games but this one is not fun. Every enemy always attacks your healer regardless of whos in your party, enemies hit about 3x harder than you can hit them, and lastly there is a fight every three seconds so good luck staying healed. I love rogue lite games and turn based games but this one just plain blows.
