Slayaway Camp: Butcher's Cut

If you enjoy puzzle solving & a mixture of parody, retro & cheesy horror tropes, then you'll dig this! My only complaints are that the game tends to softlock after too many trial & errors & I feel as if i'm hardly earning any coin, which is essential for the majority of unlockables! You can play a mini game to grind for coins & although it has catchy montage music & is somewhat motivational, it's still repetitive & can take more than a few attempts (depending on your skill level) in order to reach your goal. I do have to mention however, that some of the puzzles are too convoluted, like I enjoy the challenge, but there's been a few times I had to watch a playthrough, which is something I try to refrain myself from doing. Despite the above mentioned, it's still an enjoyable little monster mash-up! It's a guilty pleasure of sorts & is just a fun game to pick up & play/test your skill & wit! *Even if horror's not your bloody cup of tea, you'd probably still enjoy the puzzle aspect*

Please fix the game, it keeps crashing and sending me back to home. I would love to play this game again

Don't expect horror. (The game is deliberately silly.) Expect movement-based grid puzzles. This game does EXACTLY what it sets out to do. The low ratings are from people who expected the game to be something it never set out to be. So, expect silly gore & grid puzzles.....and you won't be disappointed. 👍✔️

so far im enjoying this clever puzzle and the over the top theme. puzzles are ramping up in difficulty a bit slower than id like. still abit easy on 3rd movie so far. but its starting to make me pause to think now and there seems to be alot more content left. B+

A perfect blend of '80s teen slasher films and addicting puzzle gameplay. If you're a fan of one or both of these things you're sure to love this too. The menu maybe a little confusing at first but the pros greatly out weigh the cons in terms of content and enjoyability. If you always wanted to make your own horror movie, now you can! You can even mix things up with your movies; have a Santa Slasher terrorizing a summer camp! In the near future: Please consider bringing Lakeview Cabin to the Xbox one.
