Sohei are warrior monks who wield seven weapons. Under the tutelage of Oniwaka and Master Katashi, Sohei attain spiritual and martial mastery deep in a Myre monastery. To earn the name Sohei, they must master the seven Sohei weapons. Sohei train with a single weapon for years before being allowed to move on to the next. This process ensures they become true weapon masters.
