Steve is Alone should Not be this solid for the ultra low MSRP! First thing you must do turn off the CRT filter (if you try to play the game w/ it on it's like someone dumped eye drops on your tv/monitor) For a early retro platformer the platforming/jumping mechanics are flawless! The presentation will be divisive if you are not into early video games (Intellivision/Atari 2600) This will not be for you, the music/score is ok overall The devs created the proper balance paying homage to the 2nd generation while making a platformer that runs circles around the original Super Mario Bros. Easy to pick up & play but, gets more challenging with every chapter you unlock. Each level/screen is a song title (which is easy to overlook) The power ups change-up how you must play (The Icarus wings perfect) The dash is so/so
