Strania

I just now found out that this was on XB1, I'm overjoyed to be able to play it again😂 sadly, it never really got the support it deserved when it first dropped on 360 years ago. Hopefully shmup lovers are discovering it all over again here on XB1, it needs to be experienced, to get recognized as the true masterpiece it is.

This arcade shmup has beautiful 60 FPS 3D graphics (dramatic boss explosions aside), a pulse-pounding, exciting soundtrack, co-op, online, replays, and with the Side Vower expansion, it doubles the content (new characters, music, levels, lvl 2 weapons that the main team couldn't wield), showing the conflict from the other side. A truly under-appreciated masterpiece. This is from the same devs who created other gems like [Wartech:] Senko no Ronde, Under Defeat, Border Down, and are even credited in Ikaruga... when it comes to a traditional, "sci-fi" 3D crafted vertical shmup, this is the best exclusive one developed for the X360 console (and now, Xbox One!) Yeah, expect nothing but the best in Japaanese shmup quality with this release. Your ship/mech can hold 3 weapons, various projectile. weapons and swords too... there's some stages with optional goals, it's a very innovative shmup with lots of cool features. Give the dev some love and play this sadly underappreciated gem!

Do yourself a favor and give this one a go, trust me on this one! This shooter still holds up in 2026 and puts most modern takes on the genre to absolute shame. A thoroughbred Japanese style bullet hell w/ beautiful mech aesthetics. This one is going on my personal top ten shooters EVER. Buy it already folks!!
