Game is pretty addicting once you power up a little. Old school graphics and old school challenge. You're free to explore most of the map right out the gate. Fun gained abilities and hidden upgrades abound. You can earn these abilities through EXP which is nice. The Boss battles are a mixed bag, but mostly fun and for sure challenging(especially Feng OMG). Worth the $5 if you're a fan of Metroidvania's and don't mind a little bit of punishing sections. Overall, had a good time with this short but fun game.

Simple but fun.
Short and sweet metroidvania with 8-bit style graphics. The cut scenes are nicely done. Design choices are little strange. 4 bosses can be beat in any order. Once defeated, each boss provides skill upgrades. However, these upgrades can also be acquired before boss battles using experience points. Acquiring upgrades prior to the bosses definitely helps. Also, be sure to save and explore right after a battle. This a simple, charming, and fun little game. Can be beaten quickly, but replayed for speedruns/best times.
