Update: Still one of the greatest arcade games ever. Still amazed I can remap my controls based on loadout. I like dashing with RT.

Arcade quick action fun with excellent soundtrack
Been on the fence a bit, now I wish had gotten it sooner, extremely fun, much more so than it looks like it would be. A case where looks are deceiving. Worth asking price if you enjoy old casual arcade fun that's addicting.
Haven't amped up difficulty option yet, still practicing & normal is more challenging than it looks for a casual player at first. The music is excellent but the fact it fits so well & enhances game play is what I like about it & if you like, there's also a soundtrack option. Nice headphones or nice loud stereo recommended to fully enjoy the game.
Starts off minimal but unlocks many various things fairly quickly and constantly so on first few plays. The explosive pogo stick is my favorite weapon & love pummeling a boss with it to a certain track.
Short game? Yes but so much fun to play over & over that it really doesn't matter much, especially for the cost & you can unlock easily the endless mode. Simple game? Yes, but much more in it to enjoy than it looks.

Surprisingly entertaining!
I had a lot of fun, but really wish that it was longer. I've completed it several times and still enjoy it. I really want some DLC with more worlds and bosses, and a sequel. It's a 4 star game, but I'm giving 5 to raise the rating. 👍
