Surviving the Aftermath: Ultimate Colony Upgrade

It's forced, idiotic, and contrived that we even have a rival before we even have a pot to piss in. The DLC's mechanics should come into play around the time we start developing electricity. As implemented, the rival is basically the world's worst ex-girlfriend. She knows everything about you, wants you and your friends to die, and goes around telling everyone how awful you are even before you've managed to build an outhouse!

Seriously why does the rival know of your existence after 3 days the h*ll is that nonsense then the fact that propaganda drives the comfort to rock bottom and pretty much instantly screws you over and your gonna take dang near forever to find the rival. Just nerf the rivals everything

This DLC bring's more purpose to the game and more story only problem so far is everytime one of my buildings get damaged they wont repair and will eventually get destroyed even when i have maintenance depot it mostly happens with Electric buildings lightning towers large windmills and electronic factories but besides that its been extremely entertaining and fun.

Propaganda is a contrived mechanic in its execution, it makes no narrative or gameplay sense. I understand they needed or wanted a way to attack the comfort resource to make things difficult. That would ok if it was optional in a deeper scenario customization at the start. It'd change my opinion on the dlc if things could be turned off like storms. In fact adding a deeper disaster scenario editor would allow us to have what storms we do or dont like in game. That would make the game very replayable. Same could be said for any added dlc challenges. Propaganda isn't OP anymore, i remember when it would hit and 25 or more people would leave, now its like 5 at the worst I've seen. 3 is normal. But id like to build a federation without having to deal with propaganda while experiencing everything else i bought with the dlc. I'd be able to recommend it after that.
