I'm an old gamer. How old, you ask? Well let's just say that I put a whole lot of quarters into Defender and Stargate machines. Back in my day. I've probably bought every Robotron style twin stick shooter, available on Xbox marketplace. I like most of them. But this one really stands out as something rare and special! It features surprisingly deep strategy opportunities. The load outs really allow you to maximize your personal playing technique and style. I like going in with two matching explosion (smart bombs basically) perks. I almost feel like I'm cheating. 😁 While one is recharging after being deployed, I've got another one ready to go. The primary and secondary weapon, and perks are so well thought out and useful, that you will quickly (after unlocking them) figure out what works best for you. The game is beautiful and everything runs silky smooth. Very creative and challenging enemies. The extra challenges mode and leaderboards are endless fun, also. A well deserved 5 stars. 👍

This game is rather fun and challenging, very similar to Gradius or Life Force for the NES but improved gameplay & graphics.

Get on sale. Pros: -You can configure your ship mid-run if you die -Mods that really help you -No bugs Cons: A TON -Your health is "time" base. You lose 1h per second. You lose health if any enemy hits you. You also lose FIVE HEALTH everytime you use your secondary weapons. You "gain" health when killing enemies and finishing waves BUT there often won't be enough spawned fast enough to survive, and if you checkpoint below 10-14h, just restart. -Enemies will spawn inside of you. No way to avoid it, it'll just happen whether you're moving or not. -Shotgun, bomb, and missile are all worthless w/o double fire rate mods -Turret, decoy, 1/2 time, and decoy are worthless. The turret should not be able to be destroyed, freeze bomb overshadows 1/2 time -You have to physically collect the orbs enemies drop to count for score, and the magnetism is horrible. It also increases risk to lower you multiplier & they vanish over time Overall, it's okay for achievements. Do mission 5 for 10mil score.

The multiplayer is VERY limited, the multiplayer i LOVE but, it's just so limited, And i have a idea for a mode called 'testing mode', it will let you ANYTHING in the game, u can only use all that power in that mode. Pls do dis
