I honesty can't add anything that hasn't already been said. A great Halloween game for me!

Tauronos has you survive maze after maze by finding the exit before the traps and minotaur get you first. There's more meat to the game than that as there is a story the character pieces together the further you go into the labyrinth. Controls are easy and the game teaches well how they work. There's also upgrades for armor to reduce damage taken, stamina for longer sprint times and several more to aid in your survival. These upgrades are worth it to explore each map fully but beware the minotaur. It starts off slow but gets faster the longer you stay, leading to some tense chases. Not every level has the minotaur in it but there are traps which personally killed me more than the minotaur did. I don't like there's a set number of lives where you completely start over if you run out with the exception of easy difficulty. However there's an exploit around it the devs missed. Achievements aren't too bad but will require two play throughs. Tauronos is a fun game with a low asking price.

Bruh i didnt even last 10 minutes and i just fricking panicked when the Minotaur closed in at the first pillar. With the heart racing, blood pumping, and adrenaline rushing, i just quit right before he got me. But after seeing a bit on yt, im contemplating whether I should go again

Tauronos on paper looks average but, this is a truly outstanding little"Indie" "Arcade" title! The controls at first are a bit strange/seem off but, after 10-15min. you'll adapted and they are very solid. The gameplay mirrors the Original Arcade boom period get to the next screen/level without dying! This may sound like a cake walk but, The Minotaur is chasing you throughout various levels! Sound is really good with a v/o actor reading lines at various fixed time spots.. The major selling point is the Story: The Greek Mythology story of the Minotaur & Labyrinth is a brilliant story narrative putting into this context is flawless💥even if you don't know of the story (you'll recognize elements of it) After you play the game take the time and discover the story It's both entertaining & super deep (to say it wasn't influential in all literature is a huge understatement)
