TEMBO THE BADASS ELEPHANT

Played time trial and I am very surprised. I did not think I would like it. The idea, look from review videos, and negativity about it made this seem like a pass. There's so much I enjoyed and didn't expect. It's a lot of ridiculous fun. This game is what I had once came to expect from Sega. Running like a hedgehog, I mean an elephant bull, smashing up everything is a blast. The touch of Metal Slug sorta themed look to it all had me laughing at times but also feeling like playing Chuck Norris incarnated in an Elephant that thinks it's the Incredible Hulk. Many effects weren't expected and you can do quite a bit using just three buttons. Load time, at least starting, really is ridiculous and I hope later levels don't lose the shine nor become tedious. I will update this if that is so to me. This game stands out far above the many games it looks like it would be. Buying this now.

This game is initially very fun to play, but the difficulty ramps quickly, sapping the great fun from very early in the game. Your character is a huge elephant that smashes thru things, but not after long you have to be really, really careful with your elephant or you will fall to your death...a lot. You can't even hardly run with him anymore, so many cheap deaths abound. And the limited lives is a turn-off. You don't lose your entire game when you lose all your lives, just your progress in a level, and you can grind the first level a bunch to get more...but what a pain. Know that I only made it about a 3rd of the way thru the game, I don't even fully know how much harder it gets. If you're looking to buy, know that it gets hard fast.

Right up there with the game Hell Yeah! on 360. That one should be made playable on new gen.

Sonic like Xbox game made by Game Freak and Sega, never thought those words would come out my mouth. Overall it's simple and fun to play. A decent time waster, with variety in ever stage as far as level mechanics and scenery. Alot of subtle nods to classic games that most nerds will enjoy. Only concepts that are lacking are having some unique power-ups to add some gameplay mechanics and definitly could use more levels, maybe a few challenging bonus levels. If you like classic 2D Sonic games, give it a try.

This game is awesome once again Sega comes out with a great game for people that like old school games you gonna love this game and is also great for the younger generation just look at the clips you will love it .
