Great puzzles, this are the types of game that demonstrate that 2d games could be joyfull and highly enjoyable. ❤

Teslagrad is a clever game wherein the protagonist utilizes electromagnet gear to progress through obstacles. A child, seperated from their family and running away from guards makes the daring choice to scale the nearby tower and expose its secrets to challenge a powerful despot. The artwork, tone and physics are well done. The controls are simple. Perhaps the weakest point of the game is the backstory and main plot, which could just as well've been, "head right then up!" The 40 achievements are simple to attain, with 100% coming in well under 7 hrs. All tracks well for a shallow, yet fun and unique, experience. Even with little-to-no replay value, I paid $7.50 via an Xbox Gold sale and that seems near the perfect price. 7/10 - Would recommend, Simple Achievements.

I've never been a huge fan of metroidvanias, all the backtracking is a pain. but this is where this game shines.teslagrad is more linear and short enough that people with a backtracking phobia won't freak out. this game strives to be enjoyable, and in my opinion has succeeded

great graphics and design! Some parts are hard
