Tetris Forever

It's enjoyable, but would only recommend to die hard Tetris players and also would recommend when the price is lower. I have no problem with the selection but wish they would have been able to add more games. Also he trailers for this game had no mention of multiplayer but some reviews are complaining about it. In the end (Tetris Worlds) is still the Best Tetris game collection ever.

Id reccomend if it was 10$. Effect is better

This game includes ZERO versions of tetris from the year 2000 until this version. No NES Tetris. No GameBoy Tetris. No Grand Master Challenge. I didn't expect the Tengen version... but come on, the included documentary even refers to the gameboy version as 'the perfect version' and it's not included. (Though it is not anyway due to the mentioned-and-skipped-over piece probability bug in the GameBoy version) Look, the documentary was enjoyable but I wouldnt have paid 30 bucks to watch it, and the 'time warp' game is so barebones. I'll still be getting my tetris fix from puyopuyotetris2

I guess some people are a bit disappointed in this for some reason, but personally I love it for some classic Tetris action. Great selection of classic Tetris games, and the history with all the notes, images, and videos is very interesting if you're a fan of this game. I think it's hard to go wrong with this collection and I am happy I bought it, this will probably be one of my favorite ways to play Tetris for now on, especially if I just want to go back to the simplicity and feel of the earlier entries, and the inclusion of the spinoffs is nice as well, gives it a bit more variety and a few more interesting games to check out.

It's cool how they give you an in depth look at the history of Tetris (much like Atari 50) but there's only a small list of games on here most of which are from the 80s & almost none of them are from any consoles. Half of these games aren't even Tetris at all...it's disappointing how many great installments they left out of this compilation especially being the 40th Anniversary. Hopefully they'll add more games as DLC at some point but for now, I would just stick to Tetris Effect or Tetris 99.
