The Coma: Recut

The game is a little short but offers a reason to replay to get the true ending. A simple run or hide horror title where you play to escape The Coma. Not extremely terrifying but you will get the feeling of the game being eerie and scary. I thoroughly enjoyed finding all the notes to get the back story of the the main character's peers and school's faculty . If the trailer has piqued your intrest, then you won't regret it. I know I didn't.

The Coma is not for eveyone its very "Asain" but, it works theres been a number of games that tried to rip-off this very simple concept and fail (Uncanny Valley tried to mimic poorly) Its part point and click, part Survival Stealth, with a pinch of Silent Hill.... If you love Japanese manga you'll dig this.... This is hands down the best/better Indie/Arcade survival horror game I've played on the XBox One 8.5/10

No there's no scissor-weilding little psychopath. Oh no, instead you're pursued by your busty demonically possessed highschool teacher brandishing a box cutter knife with your name on it! As mentioned above this reminds me of a 2D sidescrolling version of Corpse Party with a bit of Outlast and Alien Isolation. You don't get to fight but you run and hide like the aforementioned games. Play in the dark and it's pretty terrifying. I find this title charming, and I hope to see future horror games like this in a similar vein to Corpse Party, Ao Oni, or Mad Father.

Left amazed! Finished my first playthrough in a day, immediately started my second. Edit: liked it so much I made my first xbox review on it.

Story, characters, and art were great. The chase/combat(?) system is intentionally irritating and repetitive. Lot of time wasted "picking things up" but finding nothing of use. The video game aspect pales in comparison to what is basically a short film... If you like feeling helpless while reading a story, try this.
