The Escapists: The Walking Dead

it's a fun pixel zombie survival game.

The game itself is fun. In the beginning, I noticed zombies were a little hard to kill. Later did I realize that by building up your strength and speed, you somewhat have a decent advantage in combat. If your still having trouble, building armor helps greatly. The aspect of the game entirely I like. For those that have trouble I hope I helped to a extent. There was one thing I really didn't like though. When I put items inside my desk (On the farm, I was trying to build the upgraded shovel) I noticed that my items were gone. Spent ages finding another metal sheet to later find out my shovel I was going to upgrade was missing. 😐😄 Other then that it's fun.

Love the intence gameplay when you are fighting walkers, If you are a walking dead fan like me, you should try out this game for $5

This game is fun but not without its (rather large) flaws. That goes without saying that this isn't a good game but there are some problems that need to be addressed. Mainly the length of the game's campaign - it's too short! I was surprised by the length of episode 1 which is nothing but a tutorial that took me roughly 10 minutes if that to complete. After Rick Grimes leaves the hospital it fades to black and you get a pixelated cut scene from Days Gone Bye of Rick reunited with his family, soon bringing me back to the main menu for Hershel's farm from Miles Behind Us. To someone playing this game without knowledge of the comics or the T.V. show might not think anything of it, but that's a HUGE (dare I say YUGE 😆) leap between story arcs because so much happens between the hospital and Hershel's farm that I was very disappointed with the game. I hoped to play through almost every issue, excluding the later volumes and experience survival and the raw emotion that I've come to love.
