The Final Station
tinyBuild · Action & adventure · Platformer
Travel by train through a dying world. Look after your passengers, keep your train operational, and make sure you can always reach the next station. Make your way through swarms of infected at each station. Explore mysterious and abandoned stations looking for supplies and survivors.
Best STRATEGIC sidescroller I have seen. Resource mgmt, crafting, exploration, just enough combat without going all button-mashy. A thinking man's game. All other reviews citing major flaws with UI however are correct - please be a worthy developer and fix! 💪

Good review from me.
Definitely an enjoyable game. Got it with gold, and I just couldn't put it down. If you enjoy 2D shooters that are big on ammo-saving, then I would give it a try. Also, there always seems to be underlying lore. 10/10, might buy addon.

Unplayable on Console
I'm sure with a mouse it works fine, but on the console port it's impossible to tell what you are selecting on the main menu or train hub. This flaw makes major necessary features impossibly frustrating. (Crafting for example) When loading the game from the main menu I unintentionally hit new game and deleted my save because the selected option change is indistinguishable from other options.

Give it a try💯
Don't listen to other ppl. When i first seen the game, i thought it was 100% going to be trash, but I was REALLY wrong. I only had one bad thing about this game and that is like when you are going to buy or craft something you may have trouble finding your pointer. But if you can get around that you are in for a GREAT experience.

Fun while it lasted but that ending...
Thought this was a fun little enjoyable free game but could have been so much more. While it was cool seeing the different enemies for 1st time, the gameplay does get a little repetitive after awhile due to lack of variety. I enjoyed what subtle plot there was throughout the game, however, the ending was kind of a let down imo, felt rushed all of a sudden and anticlimactic. Really left me wondering what was the point of the overall quest in the end. Tons of things were left unexplained and unexplored that I think would've helped round out the plot. There's also some dialogue that gets slightly lost in translation with poor grammar but nothing major. Sadly beating the game doesn't unlock any extras like I was hoping it would such as an endless mode like Oregan Trail style or new game plus with different difficulties to add replayability. Overall though, I still enjoyed it for what it was, just soured at the end imo. Not worth $15 however, glad I picked it up when it was free.
