The Karate Kid: Street Rumble
GameMill Entertainment · Action & adventure · Fighting
Dominate the dojo in The Karate Kid: Street Rumble, a pixel art beat ‘em up adventure. Grab your friends for local co-op multiplayer and dive into the classic The Karate Kid journey with retro-style gameplay, dynamic combat, and epic boss battles.
If you grew up on the movies and Nintendo, this game is worth $15. Not $40 or whatever ungodly price they're asking. It's not as good as Shredder's Revenge, not as bad as Wrath of Cobra. Devs seemed to care. The kind of game I would have killed for as a kid, a few hours of nostalgia-bait if you have money to burn.

Mediocre
This is the definition of a mediocre beat em up. The best part of this game is the sprites and animation, which are very well done, featuring decent enemy variety. I have no complaints when it comes to the controls either, which are snappy and responsive, as they need to be in this genre. The sound is very generic and quickly grows repetitious. The biggest complaint I have is that unlike the movies this is based on, this game has no charm and feels repetitious very quickly, and given the number of stages here and their length, it just feels like a strain, even with the number of mini games introduced throughout. Unfortunately, this is one I'll be making my way through in small doses, and unless there's a miracle, it'll be one and done. There are considerably better beat em ups out there, and I suggest exhausting those options before looking here, and absolutely DO NOT pay $40+ for this.

Solid beat 'em up
The game doesn't do anything new (and it's not supposed to)... Every fan of the genre will like this game. Nice sprites, responsive controls, and solid gameplay. The only objective downside to this game is the lack of online multiplayer.

Woooooooof
Game shows you everything it has to offer in the first level. 20$ Game. Looks nice visually lot of detail but i cant do this for however many levels never mind multi play thrus with the 4 characters. Love the genre since i was askin dad for quarters and i really wanted to love this but sadly, i dont think ill ever open the game again. Hope Joe, Rangers and Toxic Crusaders dont go the no substance route. Man i was excited to wake up n play this morning. Almost insultingly easy. Only time u get hit is when youre locked in an annimation. Double tap stick run WAY too sensitive. Dpad works best. 1 grab throw in 2024 at 40$ says it all. Played on hard.
