The Last Cube

It really brings you out of immersion when the game bugs out every 30 seconds. It's not game breaking but I really wish I hadn't paid full price for a decent puzzle game with such a huge annoyance.

Just started, was loving as much as I am annoyed because of one bug that ruins it for me, interrupts everything looking like it's about to crash. I can't play like this. Approx. every few minutes the whole thing freezes for a few seconds while the entire screen wobbbles in a glitchy way. It looks like it's spazzing out and about to crash. It's does this frequently. I'm surprised something so severe hasn't been patched out. The game is otherwise is a joy to play and looks fantastic. The extra stuff showing this a story and not just another block puzzle game elevates this to another level too. It starts off easing you into all the mechanics at a nice pace too. There's a lot here to see right away that is worth praise which makes that unpatched bug messing it all up so disappointing. This would be 5 star game. If it eventually gets fixed, I'll update this if that happens while I'm still playing it. For most people, that bug will ruin the game.

It's new, so I'll forgive a few of the bugs. I enjoyed the game and its puzzles, not that they were extremely difficult, but I never felt I was wasting my time. The lore is entertaining enough. You can't die, so definitely a laid back experience. None of the bugs have been gamebreaking and they're mostly visual glitches that occur briefly, i'll give 5 stars after its been patched. The game looks great and none of the themes feel annoying. Each level feels a decent length with no 'padded length' areas. Definitely worth the buy.
