The Last Door - Complete Edition

Really nice well paced story, saw a big youtuber play this when I was a kid, and this game kinda stuck with me since then, id always remember a few of the more powerful themes whenever "horror" as a genre was talked about. I don't think this game is perfect, but it's a fond memory that I'm grateful for. A whole hearted thank you to the devs for bringing young me into the horror genre. All in all good game, the Xbox port is a little buggy, but I managed. If they fix that, I see no objective problems with the game.

If you enjoy point and click games AND psychological horror, this is a must buy. Great story and killer soundtrack!

Made me jumpy!

The story and gameplay are decent. The music is quite good. I found the pacing to be annoyingly slow, especially on my 2nd playthrough. My biggest dislike is the HEAVY occult emphasis, with a lot of words and terms that seem like gibberish or jargon, but to follow the story, you have to remember what they mean. This was a bigger problem in Season 2; Season 1 is more accessible to players who aren't occult fans.

There is a bug in episode 2 of season 1 that completely ended my playthrough,. The dialogue options to move the story forward aren't available no matter what I do (this is at the part where you are trying to get the tool from Baldwin's toolbox). Totally disappointed.
