The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante

A stylish choose your own adventure novel with choices that ACTUALLY MATTER and an engaging story. The choices that you make in this game from the moment the protagonist is born make a huge difference in the outcome of the overall story. Fantastic game for those who love reading.

Few bugs where language slipped back to Russian, and froze. Story good, but difficult and harsh, decisions are based on points that require min/maxing,rather than narrative.

Really solid old school decision based story. The "cut scenes" turn to Russian without prompting later in the game. Really well written, if you are a history fan shades of both French and Russian revolutions.

The balance shown in crafting a believable and engaging system that has length and replayability is impressive. There will be misses on attribute checks but there are numerous chances for corrections to avoid ruin. You are neither all powerful nor powerless. Highly recommended if you're looking for something unique.

So this is literally a book: There is only ever text and ink drawings. You make choice after choice and try to reach certain goals. It is extremely hard to hit the outcome you want and impossible to hit them all : You will have to make sacrifices and probably not the ones you thought you would. Very intelligent and complex game with surprisingly high replay value. Only bug is they forgot to translate cut-scenes. Wtf i dont speak Russian. But this does not affect playthrough. If you are ok reading a book, this game is very interesting.
