Combat feels slow and not responsive specifically when it comes to parry and guarding. No leveling up like a soulike should be. No character creation. Save your money this game is not worth the price in its current state.

Guard/ Blocking is non-existing.You still take damage. Wish i did not waste my $ .Refund please.Lesson learned with this awful purchase. Stay away, stay away.

Good old fashioned ARPG
Hi guys! I don't even know if you'll read this message, but I want to type it anyway. I just bought The Relic: First Guardian on my Xbox Series S and, to put it bluntly, I absolutely love it. I adore the visuals, the combat system, and the way the local tragedies are portrayed. The music is incredibly immersive, and the codex is packed with detail. You guys are amazing! Souls-like that looks very well thought of. Will adjust rating to gameplay and story only. I've been waiting for this since i read about it, looks the part thus far now lets see if the gameplay and story match up. Needs polished and not your average souls like. Has potential but it would be nice if the enemies respawned
