The Royal Writ

The game isn't terrible, but it's not amazing either. This game is the definition of mid. It's definitely not for everyone, but to call it trash is pure ignorance. Try the game for yourself and form your own opinion. It's at least worth a try.

This is maybe a 3 star game. Rating is 5 to be fair to the game based on all the review bombing from trolls who meltdown anytime gamepass adds something not called Call of Duty. My honest feelings are that the art is well done and the game is fun. However, its really easy. I cleared the game on both Acts, did 5 runs total and never died. Controls can be janky and the game doesnt always describe it self the best. Soundtrack is weird, the music is fine but the "cafe jazz" is a bit jarring with the theme. Overall I thought it was a solid experience

I love deck builders. This one is okay. I don't like how you lose characters so easy. The solution is to buy a bunch extra, which makes all the new ones injured, that's a dumb mechanic. Winning doesn't feel satisfing. Also you can't find this game. After it released it left coming to gamepass and didn't get added to new releases. The only way I could find this game is by going to my recently viewed games from anticipation of the release.

I know this takes alot of inspiration from other games. But this also is doing something which feels pretty damn unique compared to other card roguelikes. Its about building a tight small deck, but you can permanently lose your cards if they die. So there is a bit of risk reward. Sometimes its worth it to risk it so you can get extra items or to purposely kill a card for a bonus. Excited to play more

Boring generic mobile quality game. Also dont u love how MS made everyones gamertag blank for ALL reviews posted after 7/30/26 in order to try & hide the bot accounts/Fake Reviews. Its still super easy to tell which are legit reviews & which arent.
