The Secret Order: Shadow Breach (Xbox One Version)
Artifex Mundi · Action & adventure · Family & kids · Puzzle & trivia
There are dark secrets that have an annoying tendency to crawl back into the light, escaping oblivion. But there is also Sarah Pennington, the most skilled agent of the ever-watching Secret Order, who is there to face them.
Seems this will not only be an engaging horror mystery but also a more complex gaming experience than I expected but then again, I normally avoid games that look to be this type. It has more going on than just a story with simple pointing & clicking. As for story, looks promising, especially if you like horror of ancient, esoteric entities interacting with our world due to experts' curiosities that unleash things best left undisturbed.
It has many puzzle minigames and a variety them that keeps them a fresh experince and pleasing to come up often. The game uses some pretty cool special effects and brief movie scenes that further enjoyment, plus keeps this sort of game from getting stale. All may be typical (or not) for this genre, just thoughts on experience from a person that avoids this genre as usually not my interest.
The free trial supports achievements. I popped 4 and almost a few more in my free hour.
