Thea: The Awakening

I'll let you know up front that all battles are resolved by a card mini-game. I missed that in the description (my own fault). So I grumbled the first hour or so, but then found myself thoroughly having fun a dozen hours later and wondering where all the time went. My initial impression is this a 'simple to learn, hard to master' game that I have barely scratched the surface of.

Great game with lots of replay. Plays like a cross between Civ and Magic the Gathering. Has a few UX issues, moving through menus, context menus, notifications stack splitting. The story is a bit limited and can get repetative. But the rogue like is interesting

I bought it on PC also and prefer Xbox controls.

A few more Gods/Goddess would make it that much better. And add a few more contol options like quickly getting to 1 in a stack of 10000+. And maybe add a "mini-map" or something with key points on it. But over all, a really fun game. 10/10 would recommend.

This is a just one more turn game ala CIV and it is majestic. If you love strategy games, you owe it to yourself to grab this one.
