This Is the Police

This game is a top-down styled mystery/crime solving game. You run the shots in the police world, while having to deal with local gangs. I recommend this game to people with more time on their hands, and are willing to get invested into the story. It's no shootem up, but it's also no walk in the park. My only complaints so far is how ruthless the save system is. Didn't help the mafia enough? DEAD. Thus having to revert your save file back 4 days, which is aggravating. Aside from this, give the game a shot. It relates heavily on real world scenario's, and as a fellow officer of the law myself, I can't help myself from cracking a smile when I complete a scenario effectively.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be the Chief of a Police Station? What if you were only 180 days from retirement and you get caught up with the corruption that you are being paid to protect the citizens from? Well you will have to make all the hard choices in this game. Challenging yet fun. Help your detectives solve the big cases, make money how you choose side with who you want. GREAT job on this game. Best management game on console!

Loving it. It's an indy strat heavy sim so it's not a fast paced thrill of a twitch fest, but it has innovative game play, mature story telling and a lot of clever payoffs and tension. Super easy gameplay to grasp but a steep learning curve navigating the games dark morality. Roguelike in its harsh game overs with death at every corner. The gameplay may seem repetitve at times, but the story's reveal has me eating it up. And the music, art style, ui and menus are superb! Im loving it. Thank you Weappy Studio, you've made a lifetime fan of me.

I really enjoyed this game. It's an indie title so I wasn't sure what to think, but I came away happy. In the game you handle the day to day operations of the police force. Meanwhile your character deals with a host of outside pressures and gets put in some tight situations. The character has many faults but you can't help but love him. The storyline is entertaining and amusing.

Voice acting and story is solid. Some choices are tough. Buried several officers :(
