Unto The End

Played this game like a year ago on gamepass, Just now saw the reviews, and bought it to do this masterpiece Justice! First, you gotta play thru the whole game multiple times to get to "the real game". It's combat system, exploration, crafting are entirely unique but also changes after a few play thrus in a very interesting way.. Trust me, anyone saying "good but short", definitely played thru only once. Justice served GDI.

Heed the in-game warnings, this game does not hold your hand. There are no waypoints or healthbars and visibility is limited. However, the difficulty adds a level of tension that few other games manage to achieve (but thankfully the checkpoint system is very generous so there are no moments where you die to something new and have to spend 5 minutes walking back just to try again). There were moments where I felt deaths were cheap and unfair, but if you pay attention, every attack is choreographed and every trap has clear tells which keep you on your toes. Not for the faint of heart, be ready to fail again and again, which ultimately makes the moments of learning and success that much sweeter.

I love this game just wish the story was longer

Beautiful art, great animation. Hard but not punishing. I died a lot but never lost more than 30 seconds of progress. A few fights I had to do 15-20 times, but I had fun trying to figure them out. Lots of hidden secrets and ways to avoid fights too, but I enjoyed the combat. Lots of cool ideas, I like short games like this that don't outstay their welcome.

This game tells it's story very well so far and I'm only about an hour or so into the game, Combat was difficult to get a hold of, but once I got it It was decently easy to read enemies etc. Very rewarding for exploration and thinking rather than fighting!
