V-Rally 4

This is the 3rd or 4th month in a row you've given out broken racing games.

Another one? ANOTHER?? A-NO-THER?!? ... Car game. Another one. For Gold members. Another poorly rated car game. For us. For paying Gold members. ANOTHER car game. Oof.

Feel confused or annoyed by the unhelpful reviews? I did too. Intro: This is an entry level Rally simulation. It has arcade undertones but has enough meat to classify it as a sim. The issue comes with "how much meat?" Pros: It doesn't look bad. You won't impress anyone with it but it's not ugly, and the tracks are detailed so it feels like they took their time. The cars look great. It does have decent sliders that allow you to adjust the driving mechanics to fit your style. Fictional circuit locations mean you aren't playing "this track...again". Cons: Price. Way overpriced. It would be an okay $19.99 game. AI. It's bad. Really bad. Career mode. Rarely does a games free play appeal to me more than career. But it's an uninspired trudge through pointless contracts and boring events. The passenger assist is a bit wrong here and there. Summary: There are better rally games. Even Dirt 4. That's not a good thing. Play on gamepass or on major sale. Score: 55/💯😒🤦‍♂️

dont buy expecting a sim like the description says far from a sim!!!!!!!! Controls are clunky and slow and graphicaly dissapointing. setting choices are slim. cant switch to mph in hud. not happy. i figured 71 bucks would be good for a sim, far from a sim, i want my money back!!!!

Terrible. Slideshow framerate, co-driver calls are not remotely acurate, split times shown during race don't match time at end of race (ex. says I was 10+ sec behind but at end of race I'd win by 20+ sec or vice versa). Career is meh. Stick with Codemasters games.
