VANQUISH

The firefights are ****** and intense. The bossfights are over-the-top. The dialogue is intentionally cheesy. Smashing through waves of giant robots is really satisfying. The shooting mechanics allow for slow motion and dodging. Zooming through hordes on rocket boots and seamlessly jumping over cover in slow motion feels awesome. The campaign can be beaten in like 10 hours, which is great if you want to have fun and feel accomplished without committing to a lengthy 20+ hours. It's got a lot of replayability. The horde mode is also really fun.

This game is a blast to play, with a shot of adrenaline to boot. super fast paced gameplay, mixed with fluid cover shooter makes this game stand out from other cover shooters. combined with PlatinumGames super over the top cutscenes and story, make this a must play gem. This game and MGRR are some of PlatinumGames best works!

100% Fun total octane action highly recommend buying. 🏆💰🎮👍👌

The third-person shooter that put all others to shame. What can I say? The game speaks for itself.

Ideally, the best way to play this would be a 60fps Xbox One port of the PC Version, or the PC version, but since the former doesn't exist, this still does nicely. For new players, don't be discouraged by the game's difficulty and apparent lack of depth. It actually has a lot of depth in it's mechanics that you can experiment with yourself that adds a lot to it. Once you figure out how to use a combination of cover and all the game's movement and combat mechanics, the experience is borderline sublime.
