Vasilis
Sometimes You · Action & adventure · Other · Puzzle & trivia
Vasilis is a hand-drawn adventure game. Vasilis, the main character, has lost her husband Peter in the rebellious city center. The city has plunged into chaos by constant riots, and almost every day something is burned or someone is killed.
I really wanted to like this game, however, I got stuck on Chapter 6 and I realized after wandering around aimlessly that the game was glitched. I was supposed to give a person milk, but the items needed in order to get the milk disappeared when I continued my game. The game apparently doesn't 'save to memory' quest progress at this point. Before I continued my game I gave the meat and leg to the people who needed them. However, as mentioned, once I continued my game, I went to talk to the people in line for milk and they made it seem like I never had the items. The meat and leg disappeared, but the quest did not get completed. I cannot recommend a game like this, even at five dollars because the quest progression is broken. Broken games to me are not worth playing. It's too bad that I came across this glitch because I love the unique art style and errie atmosphere. Top it all off with a story that feels very personal and you would have had an amazing underground indie game. Patch?

Not good but not really bad, just meh
The game is basically you walking around getting and giving items to people which is made worse by your characters absolutely GLACIAL WALKING SPEED. I could always understand what i was doing but never why i was doing it, i still have no clue what impact your missing husband and acquiring his limbs had to do with anything. The only real compliments i can give the game is that it functions properly and i didnt encounter a single bug, which was unexpected for a 4$ game

Cool look
The game has a cool graphic style, and decent gameplay. After the first day the game becomes really slow. For $5 the game isn't bad.

A very unusual game and story experience.
This game can be quite disorienting, with the art it can be a little hard to discern what everything is and where we are going. Unfortunately the game isn’t quite weaved together seamlessly. Sometimes characters will be talking about things you haven’t even seen yet, depending on which way you go first. The English dialogue is a little broken in places too. The game and story is certainly pretty unique. And for some it might be obscure and unusual enough to draw you in.
