Verdict Guilty is a homage to all things 90's! (it feels like one of those oddball one-off Arcade cabinets you'd see at medium-large Arcades or a laundry mat/gas station. For the low MSRP it's a must for all fighting fans! It's fairly easy to pick-up and play the thing that makes it stand out is the back drop it' a urban/city fighting game with cops vs criminals/thugs which is very rare.... This is the kind of digital game you'd see during Xbox Live Summer of Aarcade 👍❤️👍 (A great marketing/PR tool that was D/C after the 360 was put out to pasture)😢 i've played many poor/generic retro fighters Verdict Guilty is above average not perfect but, there's something there the low price is very fair and make it worth a blind buy

Great and fun stuff!
Honestly this game is more fun than it seems, controls are fluid, easy to pickup and play. Even if there isnt much depth, that doesnt matter. Really my one issue is that if you pause the game, pressing b will QUIT YOU BACK TO THE MAIN MENU. No prompt. No "are you sure you want to quit?" nothing. Just boop. Back to main you go. Why is this? Can this be removed? Usually you have quitting to main as an option, not a button press.
Edit: I said this game doesnt have depth, and i meant as far as the fighting itself goes. Combos etc. But this game does have a few secret modes, and secret characters? Three from breakers specifically, AND KEN ANDERSON? famous wrestler ken anderson. For some reason. Amazing.

Almost there
It needs some polishing but for the price not bad . It has some street fighter 2 and art of fighting nods and even a final fight map. This an interesting take on a tournament fighter with the use of handcuffs to detain a suspect to win and even shootouts with the computer to win ( spamming). Like I said interesting take itjust need some polish.

GOOD BRAWLER
It's pretty good, jump right in for some brawling, easy to understand explanation of how the moves work, unlock a few guest fighters for winning the game, it could use some better difficulty balancing as certain aspects of the gameplay make it way too easy, especially when you use certain fighters you can easily beat every stage by simply standing in one spot and spamming the machinegun attack, but that's only one minor gripe, VERDICT GUILTY does a lot of things right as a 2-D brawler
Interesting characters
Special moves and combos that aren't overly complicated to learn
A few hidden goodies to unlock
Overall play style has an ART OF FIGHTING / BREAKERS feel to it
And not to mention it's pretty darn fun to play
Quick gamerscore boost as well
